The 1.5 hour WRT Water Release Therapy® Session is a gift for the client to experience the inward journey on the Earth plane. The WRT Session is a perfect therapeutic introduction for awakenings of deep release and inner peace, and well-being through this profoundly rich healing Aquatic Art.
Many clients find a 90 minute WRT Session can provide the perfect creative magic of healing integration whether above and/or below the surface of the water. As an Aquatic Art with origins from Watsu, WaterDance, Deep Presence, Breath and Yoga, the 90 minute WRT Session is designed to release trauma, old patterns and holding stored in the body and mind. The client experiences the process of deep release and often the profound unfolding from whatever may be keeping one from living fully. The one hour WRT Session allows for the perfect 'Gift' to share with someone you love.
"Going back to the Source. That is the essence of Diane Feingold's waterwork. The work in warm salt water takes one back to origins, back to Source, a deep remembering of our first bodily experience. In this way it is deeply healing and profoundly re-organizing. Diane's work helps the body to remember its original integrity. The element of salt water combined with the hands and movements of a skilled therapist allows the body to naturally come back to its beginnings, its essential wholeness. One emerges from this work truly reborn." ~ Patricia Reis, Maine
As in WRT Water Release Therapy® If appropriate the client is gradually taken entirely under the water freed from the bounds of cellular memory, biology and gravity where in this warm divine liquid light ...one is free to embrace inspiration, flow, trust, courage, connection, openness, adventure, peace and well-being in literally transformational and unlimited ways.
Watsu®
is a unique style of bodywork that is performed in an aquatic environment. The name, which is short for "Water Shiatsu", has developed into a highly effective and popular approach to healing. Sessions are performed in a body of water where you are gently cradled and guided through the healing waters. While you are floating horizontally shiatsu and movement techniques are applied to stimulate specific energy pathways of your body.
Watsu® is an extraordinary modality of aquatic bodywork in which the receiver experiences many different sensations: deep relaxation, a sense of calmness and an overall feeling of release while being floated in warm water. This aquatic bodywork is a deeply meditative and profound experience that draws on your body’s natural healing energies to bring more comfort, ease, spaciousness, freedom, vitality and balance to all aspects of your body and being.
There are gentle stretches along with Shiatsu massage, Yoga, and the circling movements of Tantsu along with the connection of breath and movement. If applicable Diane encourages the experience of WaterDance where even deeper openings can occur. However the perfect session unfolds it is
reflected in the intuitive presence of being with and available to the needs, the breath and circumstances of each client in each moment.
The 4 hour WRT Water Release Therapy® Intensive with Diane is two consecutive days.

"Joy, peace, extreme comfort, felt complete presence with myself and the experience, I felt love." ~ Maria, Santa Barbara
The WRT Intensives by nature are designed as a cumulative experience. For the 2 day Private Intensive Therapy one is scheduled at the same time of day with a specific protocol to follow. The 2 consecutive days of WRT and focused intention allow for the 'steeping' effect.*

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of massage therapy. The word Shiatsu comes from two Japanese words - "shi" (finger) and "atsu" (pressure). In addition to the direct stimulation of pressure points along the energy pathways of your body, gentle stretching techniques are applied over a wider area of the body to integrate the point work and encourage the flow of Chi (energy) throughout the body. Shiatsu is a meditative healing art that honors the body, mind and spirit.

Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.

The Feldenkrais Method is a detailed system of movements used to build your awareness of your body-mind connection. Since there is no physical separation between body and mind, strengthening this connection leads to improved well-being and overall health. Developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, this practice not only corrects poor movement habits, but also helps you improve your response to crucial aspects of life including your emotions, relationships, and intellectual tasks.
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.
Infant Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically to promote the healthy development of your infant. Caring human touch is crucial for a healthy thriving baby, and the benefits of massaging your infant are potent and numerous. For example, many infants show improved growth and development of the brain and nervous system. Infant massage has also been shown to improve the quality of a baby's sleep, as well as strengthening their immune system.
Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.
